Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring recent EPIC proficiency and a compact or IN license.

Responsibilities

Work in a Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
Night shift schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 17:00 to 05:00
Weekend shifts are included in the schedule
No blocked scheduling permitted
May be required to travel to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne (1.5 hours away) for EPIC orientation if not previously trained in the Parkview system
Must provide two professional references from a supervisor within the past two years
All time off or scheduling requests must be disclosed before assignment consideration

Requirements

Active RN license in IN or a compact state
Recent experience (within the past year) using EPIC on a medical surgical unit
Must be proficient with EPIC EMR system
Willingness to attend EPIC orientation at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne if previous EPIC experience was outside the system

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
