Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU night shift position requiring an AL or compact RN license and recent CICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU) within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patients cared for include those with critical cardiovascular conditions
• EMR system used is Meditech
• Timekeeping uses Centricity
• Local candidates are accepted with no mile restrictions
• Responsibilities include providing critical care to cardiovascular patients in the CICU
• Virtual orientation will include competency-based modules, with no HealthStream modules prior to start
• All ICU RNs must complete a cardiac exam after offer acceptance, with exam link sent within 48 hours and a 24-hour completion window
• Compliance documentation must be completed two Wednesdays prior to the start date

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license required; no pending or temporary licenses accepted
• No current or past disciplinary actions ('hits') on nursing license permitted
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience with at least 1 year recent experience in cardiovascular ICU
• Completion of an on-site test and an online pre-test for ICU RNs is required prior to start
• Required to provide current resume, full SSN, license verification, and driver’s license for consideration
