Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN with an active MA RN license and strong travel and academic medical center experience for a day/night rotating assignment.
Responsibilities
- Position is located in a hospital PACU environment
- Role involves care of post-anesthesia patients
- Day/night rotating schedule with up to 2 weekend shifts per month
- 13-week contract assignment
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Flu vaccination is required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- No validated parking is available at Boston locations; candidates should expect to use public transportation or public parking lots
- Local candidates must live more than 60 miles from the hospital to qualify for the standard rate; those within 60 miles receive a reduced rate
- First time travelers are not eligible for this position
- Proof of MA RN licensure must be provided at the time of consideration
Requirements
- Active unencumbered MA RN license is required; conditional or pending licenses are not accepted
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience is required
- At least 1 year of travel PACU RN experience is required
- At least 1 year of experience at an academic medical center is required
- Experience using Epic charting system is preferred
