Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN with GA or compact license and chemotherapy administration competency for a weekday hospital role.

Responsibilities

Hospital-based position in an oncology department
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, 8-hour day shifts
No on-call responsibilities
13-week contract assignment
Direct care of oncology patients requiring chemotherapy administration
No local candidates within a 50-mile radius are eligible
Permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before consideration
Any requested time off must be submitted upfront and will not be accepted after offer
First time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license
Minimum 2 years of recent oncology RN experience
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Chemotherapy certification required
Must be able to administer chemotherapy

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
