Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a night shift contract, requiring ARDMS certification and at least 2 years of specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital ultrasound department
- Adult and potentially mixed patient population
- Uses Cerner EMR
- Night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 10:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.
- 13-week contract assignment
- No on-call requirements
- No local candidates will be considered within a 50-mile radius
- Returning permanent staff must have a two-year break before being considered as travelers
- All requested time off must be submitted up front
- Compliance with vaccination and credentialing processes is strictly enforced
- Badge photo must be provided upon offer acceptance
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist
- Active ARDMS certification required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
