Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a night shift contract, requiring ARDMS certification and at least 2 years of specialty experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital ultrasound department
Adult and potentially mixed patient population
Uses Cerner EMR
Night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 10:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.
13-week contract assignment
No on-call requirements
No local candidates will be considered within a 50-mile radius
Returning permanent staff must have a two-year break before being considered as travelers
All requested time off must be submitted up front
Compliance with vaccination and credentialing processes is strictly enforced
Badge photo must be provided upon offer acceptance

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist
Active ARDMS certification required
Current AHA BLS certification required
License required if applicable
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
