Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Ortho position on night shift with 1-2 years of experience and compact or OK RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical Surgical Orthopedics unit of an acute care hospital
• Assignment is for night shifts (3x12 hours), 18:30-07:00
• Patient ratio is 1:6
• Weekend shifts are required
• Floating to other units may be required
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be auto approved
• No time off is allowed during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required
• 1-2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Former permanent staff must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted
