Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and rotating on-call coverage.
Responsibilities
- Position is in an Interventional Radiology department with three labs, including neuro intervention for stroke large vessel occlusions (LVO)
- RN monitors conscious sedation in MRI, CT, ultrasound, and IR procedures
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 7:00 to 16:30
- Rotating call requirements, including on-call every 6th weekend for emergent after-hours cases
- Epic charting experience preferred
- RN is responsible for monitoring and providing care during conscious sedation for a variety of IR procedures including neuro interventions
- No travel pairs or groups accepted
- First-time travelers are accepted
- No more than 3 days of requested time off will be approved, and no time off is allowed during the first week of orientation
Requirements
- Active OK or compact RN license required and must be valid at time of consideration
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Locals within 50 miles are not accepted
- Former permanent staff must be gone at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
