Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for night shifts with required Epic charting experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital ICU with a 1:2 patient ratio
• 10 ICU rooms with adult critical care patient population
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 19:30 to 07:00
• Use of Epic EMR system
• Travel experience is required
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• Former permanent staff must have a 1-year gap before returning as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO (requested time off) will be auto approved
• No RTO allowed during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1-2 years ICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• TNCC certification preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Applicants must reside outside a 50 mile radius; locals within 50 miles are not accepted
• Cannot reside in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris counties
