Job Description

American Traveler seeks experienced ICU RNs for night shifts with a NM or compact license and a minimum of one year recent ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU department in a hospital setting
• Night shifts available, 4x12 hours (18:30–07:00), with 36 or 48 hour options per week
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2
• Floating to other units is required
• Weekend shifts are required
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• No travel pairs or groups will be considered
• No more than three days of requested time off will be automatically approved; no time off allowed during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• One or more years of recent ICU RN experience is required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the hospital
• Former staff must have a one-year separation before being eligible as a traveler
