Job Description
American Traveler seeks experienced ICU RNs for night shifts with a NM or compact license and a minimum of one year recent ICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the ICU department in a hospital setting
- Night shifts available, 4x12 hours (18:30–07:00), with 36 or 48 hour options per week
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2
- Floating to other units is required
- Weekend shifts are required
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- No travel pairs or groups will be considered
- No more than three days of requested time off will be automatically approved; no time off allowed during the first week of orientation
Requirements
- Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- One or more years of recent ICU RN experience is required
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the hospital
- Former staff must have a one-year separation before being eligible as a traveler

Pros
Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in.
