Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and required BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications, with EP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care teaching hospital with a Level I Trauma designation
• Primary assignment in the Cath Lab, with possible float to the outpatient cath lab for procedures
• Adult cardiology and radiology patient populations
• Perform cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Day shifts, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with weekend shifts as needed
• No current call requirement, but may be reinstated in the future
• Cerner EMR is used in the unit
• Scrubs are provided in the Cath Lab
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Time-off requests must be approved by the unit manager
• Locals are accepted
• Scrub color is provided by the Cath Lab

• All staff are expected to adhere to patient safety and quality standards established by the facility

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications required
• EP and Structural Heart experience preferred
• Experience with MacLab, Xper, and Cerner systems preferred
• License required if applicable
