Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with a minimum of 3 years stress echo experience and ARDMS or CCI registration.

Responsibilities

Position is in a hospital-based cardiology unit
Day shift, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, five 8-hour shifts per week
Some weekend and holiday coverage may be required
No scheduled rotation or call
13-week assignment
May be required to work some weekends and holidays
Candidates must provide two references, including one from a Nurse Manager or higher
Scrub color is not specified
A 75-mile radius rule applies for eligibility for surgical and miscellaneous techs
First-time travelers are not excluded

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience performing echocardiograms, including stress echo
ARDMS or CCI certification required
Must pass an EKG test
License required if applicable

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
