Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 18 months of experience and current ARRT and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in an interventional radiology unit specializing in liver center procedures including Y-90, MAAS, AVS, DEBS, PTC, and drain placements
- Adult patient population
- Day shifts, either 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with 8-hour shifts five days per week
- On-call requirement one day per week from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Siemens equipment used for procedures
- Uses Cerner EMR with charting required
- All travelers may float within the hospital or to affiliate locations
- Primary duties include performing advanced interventional radiology procedures in a highly specialized setting
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Candidates must be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Scrub attire requirements will be provided upon assignment
- Policy allows for auto-approval of up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO)
- Previous staff (Perm or PRN) must be separated for at least 12 months to be considered as travelers
- Local candidates are accepted for allied interventional radiology roles
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification accepted from AHA or RQI
- Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of recent interventional radiology experience required
- Experience with PACS, C-Arm, and contrast preferred
- Relevant state (IN or Compact) license in hand for start dates 2-4 weeks out; license required if applicable
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited university required
