Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric CVICU RN with at least 1 year of pediatric cardiac ICU experience, active MO or compact RN license, and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a pediatric cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) at a children's hospital
• Work 36 hours per week, night shifts (3x12 hours: 19:00-07:00)
• Staff may float to the cardiac med surg floor as needed
• Magnet-designated, teaching hospital, Level I Trauma Center, Level IV NICU
• Uses Cerner EMR
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrub attire may be any kid-friendly color or pattern
• Free parking is available with a permit
• Nicotine-free campus; hospital tests for nicotine use
• COVID and Flu vaccination may be required

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration; pending will not be accepted
• Minimum of 1 year pediatric CICU/CVPICU experience required
• Current certifications needed: BLS, ACLS, PALS (all must be active at time of consideration)
• Two supervisory references completed within the last 12 months required
• Date of birth and Social Security number required at time of consideration
