Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatrics Acute Care Float Pool position requiring an active MO or compact RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Pediatric Acute Care Float Pool within a hospital setting
• Float to similar pediatric units within the same facility or campus as needed
• Potential but unlikely floating to a nearby Kansas location may occur
• Cares for a range of pediatric acute care and pediatric med/surg patients
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• 13-week assignment
• Local candidates considered at the same rate
• Patient care assignments will match the candidate's acuity and specialty experience
• Hospital is a nicotine free campus and tests for nicotine use
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Flexible schedule is preferred for travelers

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required
• Willingness to obtain a KS RN license if needed
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) required at the time of consideration
• Travel nursing experience required
• Pediatric or Peds Med/Surg experience required
• Clean Nursys record required
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the last 12 months required
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
