Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with IL license for a night shift position caring for complex spine patients in a stepdown setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in an ICU at an orthopedic hospital with a focus on complex spine cases
• Patient population consists primarily of stepdown level patients rather than traditional ICU
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 2:1
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:30), with every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Floating required to other med-surg and ICU units within Endeavor Health
• Holiday coverage required
• Care for patients recovering from complex spine procedures in an orthopedic specialty hospital
• Locals are accepted with no radius restrictions
• First-time travelers with at least 1 year of experience are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
