Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with OR experience, ARRT and ODH certification, and an Allied Health associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based radiology department covering X-ray procedures
• Schedule consists of four 9-hour day shifts per week: Thursday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Candidate may be required to float to multiple campuses within 15 miles as needed
• Floating within specialty clusters and to high-risk respiratory/COVID units may be required
• Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required
• Candidate will be fitted for N95 mask before work on high-risk respiratory units unless PAPR is provided
• May perform procedures in other imaging modalities as needed by the department
• May have on-call responsibilities based on department needs
• Must be able to coordinate patient flow and radiology activities as part of the team
• Professional judgment required to maintain equipment condition and operate within certification scope
• Request for time off (RTO) must be made with initial application; no RTO will be added after an offer and approvals are at the manager’s discretion
• Local radiology candidates within a 50-mile radius are eligible for consideration

Requirements

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Radiologic Technology required
• Current BLS certification through AHA required
• ARRT and ODH certifications required
• Must have operating room (OR) radiology experience
• Ability to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures including administration of contrast media
• License required if applicable
• Travel experience preferred
