Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position in Georgia, requiring L&D and nursery experience with night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit covering labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
• Unit includes 5 labor/delivery/recovery/postpartum rooms and 10 bassinets
• Handles approximately 210-230 deliveries per year
• Night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00 - 07:00)
• Some weekend and holiday shifts are required
• Uses Cerner EMR and PeriWatch Fetal Monitoring System
• Royal blue scrubs required, not provided
• Minimal to no time off is permitted during the contract
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the assignment are eligible but will receive a reduced travel rate
• Vaccination and testing requirements may apply per facility policies

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Minimum one year of recent Labor and Delivery experience required
• Level 1-2 nursery experience required
• Skills required: Newborn care, postpartum care, labor and delivery, IV starts, medical screening exams, vaginal exams
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
