Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Hawaii requiring an active HI RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Work in a Labor & Delivery hospital setting
12-hour day shifts from 7:15 AM to 7:45 PM
13-week assignment with 36 hours per week
Care for high-risk and standard labor and delivery patients
Utilizes Epic EMR system
Provide care to laboring mothers and monitor high-risk obstetric cases
Epic EMR experience is helpful but not required
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
All licenses and certifications must be active at the time of consideration
Assignment limited to two years of continuous or cumulative work with a mandatory 90-day break if exceeded

Requirements

Active HI RN license required at time of consideration
Current BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
Minimum 1 year recent (within last 3 years) full-time Labor & Delivery RN experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Last 4 digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration
High-risk OB experience within the last 2 years preferred
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
At least 5 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience within the last 2 years preferred
