Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night float pool position requiring IV start and telemetry experience with an active OH or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Hospital setting on a Med/Surg float pool
Floats to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
Cares for adult Med/Surg patient population
Handles patient ratios of 1:4-5
Schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) including weekend nights
Uses Epic EMR system and telemetry monitoring equipment
Must provide high-quality nursing care and demonstrate flexibility in floating within units
Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail are required
Holiday coverage is expected according to unit needs

Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience
Current BCLS certification
Proficient with IV start and telemetry monitoring
Experience with Epic EMR

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in.
