Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT and BLS certification for a Level 1 Trauma Center assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center providing X-Ray imaging for ED, inpatient, and OR settings
- Serve pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Rotating weekends every 6th week and coverage of 50% of holidays during the assignment
- Experience with Siemens, Mckesson, or GE equipment preferred
- Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
- Responsibilities include producing diagnostic X-Ray images in fast-paced environments and supporting trauma and surgical teams
- Position will accept first-time travelers
- 75-mile radius rule applies; local candidates considered at a reduced rate
- Must be able to work assigned shifts, weekends, and at least half of the holidays during the contract
- All requested time off must be included at time of consideration
- Scrub requirements not specified
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years radiology experience with at least 1 year in X-Ray specialty
- Current ARRT and BLS certifications required
- Experience in trauma, emergency, inpatient, and operating room settings is required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Active MO or Compact state license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
