Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a Maryland or compact RN license and critical care certifications.

Responsibilities

Work in the adult/geriatric ICU of a hospital setting
Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:30-08:00)
Every other weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled is required
Typical patient ratio is 1:2
Unit has 32 beds with an average daily census of 26 patients
Floating is required within ICU specialty and to lower acuity units as needed
No on-call requirements
Navy blue scrubs are required
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Patient population is primarily adults and geriatric patients

Requirements

Active Maryland or compact RN license
Minimum of 2 years ICU RN experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
