Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 3 years of med-surg experience and Epic proficiency.

Responsibilities

Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
Day shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Includes both weekday and some weekend shifts
Rotating holiday coverage required
Estimated patient ratio is 1:4
Required to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity
No on-call responsibilities
Utilizes the Epic EMR system
Must be able to float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
Holiday rotations are part of the schedule
First time travelers will be considered

Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license
Minimum 3 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
BLS certification required
Experience with IV starts and telemetry required
Proficiency with Epic EMR required
Previous travel experience preferred

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
