Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position requiring night shifts, BLS certification, and successful completion of an EKG rhythm interpretation exam.

Responsibilities

• Work in a community hospital setting as part of the Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool
• Patients include both medical-surgical and telemetry acuity levels
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating required within skillset and patient acuity
• Care for a range of med/surg and telemetry patients with varying acuity
• Every other weekend coverage is required
• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are accepted

Requirements

• Active RN license in Maryland or a compact RN license required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
