Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float position that requires travel experience and the ability to float within the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Work in a community hospital setting on a Med/Surg Telemetry Float unit
• Day shifts with a 3x12 schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Floating to various units within the nurse's skillset and acuity is required
• Every other weekend is required
• Responsibilities include caring for Med/Surg and telemetry patients throughout the float pool
• Must cover every other weekend as part of the regular schedule
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Must pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
