Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Emergency Department role in Massachusetts requiring an active MA RN license and current AHA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Emergency Care unit within a hospital setting
• Rotating 36-hour schedule over a 13-week assignment
• Patient population includes emergency and urgent cases typical of an ED
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Shared housing is provided; no pets or guests allowed
• Must bring own transportation
• Primary responsibilities include providing emergency care and triaging patients
• Must provide license verification from both NURSYS and state BON
• FLU vaccination is mandatory; exemptions are not accepted
• Shared staff housing available with restrictions on guests and pets
• First time travelers will be considered
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to qualify for standard rate
• Parking is not validated and may require use of public lots with daily fees

Requirements

• Active and unencumbered MA RN license required; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted
• Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• TNCC certification preferred
• No minimum years of experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must have current flu vaccination without medical or religious exemptions
