Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced NICU RN for a high-risk Level III neonatal intensive care unit in Texas, requiring NRP, STABLE certification, and a TX or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Cares for high-risk newborns
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Uses Cerner EMR; Cerner experience is preferred
• Provide specialized nursing care for high-risk neonates in a Level III NICU environment
• Must submit all required certifications and references for consideration
• Requested time off (RTO) must be communicated during application
• No local candidates will be considered if residing within 50 miles

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years NICU nursing experience required
• Current NRP and STABLE certifications required
• Two professional references from supervisors within the last 3 years required
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Locals within a 50 mile radius are not accepted
