Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring an active IL RN license and critical care certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within a hospital setting
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts each week (18:45 to 07:15)
• Every other weekend is required
• Floating to other units is required
• Epic charting system is used and experience is preferred
• Role involves delivering critical care to ICU patients
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• A maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO) will be considered

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required at the time of application
• Minimum of 1 year ICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
• Not open to candidates living within 75 miles of the facility
• Pending licenses are not accepted
