Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN for a 13-week travel assignment, requiring a FL or compact RN license and advanced life support certifications.
Details
- Position is in an interventional radiology department within a hospital setting
- Involves specialized procedures such as tunneled lines, nephrostomy tubes, drains, biopsies, embolizations, chest tubes, and TIPS
- Shift is 10 hours per day with possible 12-hour day shifts
- 1 weeknight call per week and 1 weekend call per month required
- Navy blue scrubs are required
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory
- Prior experience in interventional radiology nursing is highly preferred
Additional Information
- Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel status
- Returning travelers must not have worked at the facility within the past year
- COVID vaccination is required for consideration
- Responsibilities include supporting a variety of IR procedures and working collaboratively with the IR team
