Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a WA or compact RN license and advanced fetal monitoring certification.

Responsibilities

Work in the Labor & Delivery unit within an acute care setting
Night shifts required, typically 12 hours with some 8-hour shifts as needed
Unit includes labor, delivery, and postpartum care with approximately 35-40 births per month
Primary patient populations are L&D and postpartum
Unit configuration includes 4 labor and delivery and 5 postpartum rooms
Uses Epic EMR for charting
Responsibilities include neonatal monitoring and care for laboring and postpartum patients
STABLE certification is preferred for this assignment
Orientation hours are not provided for this role

Requirements

Active WA or compact RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of L&D RN experience
Current certifications in BLS (AHA), NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring required
STABLE certification preferred

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
