Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Sonographer for an acute care breast cancer center with at least one year of ultrasound experience and RDMS-BR certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Breast Cancer Center performing ultrasound procedures
• Acute care setting specializing in breast imaging
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates may not have been directly employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health within the past year
• Orientation includes 12 hours
• Scrub or dress code details will be provided by the facility
• Assignment may include Monday through Friday work only

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Sonographer
• Active BLS certification
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Breast (RDMS-BR) via ARDMS required
• License required if applicable
• Must provide a copy of a valid driver's license for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from the past 12 months, one peer or supervisor from the past 3 years, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility
