Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry position requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 18 months of recent nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the 2N Observation Unit of a hospital setting
• Role involves caring for telemetry/observation patients
• 12-hour night shifts (NOC)
• 13-week assignment duration
• Holiday time off requests are limited to a maximum of three days if on or near a holiday, and five days otherwise
• Only one holiday time off request may be submitted per contract
• Requesting several days off during the holidays will not be approved; time off must be spaced out
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand is required
• Minimum of 18 months of recent RN experience
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year, and for at least 18 months if returning to the same facility
