Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry night shift position in a progressive care unit, requiring a valid AR or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital progressive care unit (PCU) with a focus on Med Surg/Telemetry patients
Nights schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
13-week contract assignment
Care for telemetry and progressive care patient populations
Limited RTO requests allowed; must be less than one week
Does not accept local travelers residing within a 50-mile radius
Holiday and weekend shifts may be expected as per unit schedule

Requirements

Active AR or compact RN license required
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med Surg/Telemetry
No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days in the past 12 months
No previous employment as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
No certifications may expire within 30 days of assignment start

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
