Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Neonatal ICU position requiring a TX or compact state license and recent NICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Care for critically ill neonates in a specialized environment
- 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
- No Canadian Social Security Numbers accepted
- Position involves caring for premature and critically ill newborns
- First-time travelers are not specified as eligible or ineligible
Requirements
- Active TX or compact state RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU experience required
- Current AHA or ARC BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Advanced 9th Edition certifications
- No employment gaps of 90 days or longer in the past 12 months
- Valid US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- At least one professional reference required
