Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Neonatal ICU position requiring a TX or compact state license and recent NICU experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of a hospital setting
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
13-week contract assignment
Care for critically ill neonates in a specialized environment
50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
No Canadian Social Security Numbers accepted
Position involves caring for premature and critically ill newborns
First-time travelers are not specified as eligible or ineligible

Requirements

Active TX or compact state RN license
Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU experience required
Current AHA or ARC BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Advanced 9th Edition certifications
No employment gaps of 90 days or longer in the past 12 months
Valid US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
At least one professional reference required
