Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position with trauma focus on night shifts, requiring a TX or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting on the 3 Med Surg - Trauma unit
• Patient population includes medical-surgical and trauma cases
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel assignment
• No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Primary responsibilities include caring for patients on a Med/Surg unit with trauma cases
• Scrub or dress code policies to follow hospital standards
• Travelers cannot have a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility
• Holiday coverage may be required as determined by hospital needs

Requirements

• Active TX or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required, with valid card through first 30 days of assignment
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional reference required: one for Texas
