Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Texas requiring a compact or TX RN license and recent ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Patient population includes a wide range of emergency care cases
• 13-week travel contract with 12-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• No floating or call requirements indicated
• Schedule may include weekends and holidays
• Role includes rapid assessment, triage, and emergency treatment of patients
• Must wear scrubs as per department guidelines
• No local candidates accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Holiday coverage may be required as scheduled

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent ER experience required
• Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or accepted alternatives required for ER
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must provide references as specified by state requirements
• Must be able to provide US SSN and date of birth for compliance
