Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Texas requiring a compact or TX RN license and recent ER experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Patient population includes a wide range of emergency care cases
- 13-week travel contract with 12-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
- No floating or call requirements indicated
- Schedule may include weekends and holidays
- Role includes rapid assessment, triage, and emergency treatment of patients
- Must wear scrubs as per department guidelines
- No local candidates accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- Holiday coverage may be required as scheduled
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent ER experience required
- Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or accepted alternatives required for ER
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Must provide references as specified by state requirements
- Must be able to provide US SSN and date of birth for compliance

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
