Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department travel assignment in Texas with specialty certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Shift is 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local candidates accepted due to a 50-mile radius rule
• Must provide compassionate and efficient emergency nursing care
• Must submit required documents including references and proof of license and certifications
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required per unit needs

Requirements

• Active TX or compact state RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent emergency department nursing experience
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale
• CPI or equivalent crisis prevention certification mandatory for ER nurses
• TNCC certification required for ER roles
• All certifications must be valid and not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• No work history gaps exceeding 90 days in the past year
• U.S. Social Security Number required (no Canadian SSNs accepted)
• References required for consideration
