Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position, requiring a current LA or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg-7A unit with telemetry responsibilities
• Patient population includes medical-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week travel contract assignment
• Tele unit may require floating as needed
• Be prepared to provide high-level care to diverse med/surg telemetry patients
• Clinical team support provided within the unit
• Current certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the contract
• No local candidates accepted per facility policy

Requirements

• Active LA or compact RN license required
• Minimum one year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Valid US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• At least one professional reference required
