Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown/Med-Surg/Telemetry unit position, requiring an AL or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Med-Surg/Telemetry unit with stepdown patient population
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• No local travelers allowed within a 50-mile radius
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Travelers with first-time experience may be considered if other requirements are met

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license is required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in the relevant specialty
• No lapses in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Certifications must be valid and not expiring within 30 days of start
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility in the last 2 years
