Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position in Illinois requiring an active IL RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a hospital setting
Typical shift is 7:00 am to 5:30 pm
Assignment length is 13 weeks
Role involves recovery and monitoring of post-anesthesia patients
Will be responsible for providing post-anesthesia care and monitoring of patients in recovery
Must be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team
Local candidates within a 50 mile radius are eligible for consideration at a reduced rate
Candidates are allowed two attempts to pass EKG testing, with reapplication possible in 30 days if not successful

Requirements

Active IL RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU experience
No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the last 12 months
Current EKG testing required as part of consideration
US Social Security Number required

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
