Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Texas requiring an active TX or compact license and recent ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department (ED/ER) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Assignment is exclusively for non-local candidates living more than 50 miles from the facility
• Responsibilities include delivering care to emergency patients in a fast-paced environment
• Must adhere to facility protocols for emergency care and crisis intervention
• Scrub or dress code requirements will be communicated at onboarding
• No local candidates within a 50 mile radius are eligible for this assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent ER/Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Certification, CPI or equivalent (SAMA, MAB, ACPMA) as accepted
• TNCC certification required for ER nurses
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional reference: at least one required
