Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week night shift Emergency Department assignment in Texas requiring a TX or compact license and key certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department (ER) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00PM to 7:00AM
• 13-week contract with 48 hours per week
• Care for a diverse patient population presenting with emergency and acute needs
• Primary responsibilities include triage, assessment, and emergency care for all age groups
• Must provide direct patient care in high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required
• Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided at onboarding
• Must submit required documentation for consideration, including valid references and certifications

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent ER nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• CPI or acceptable alternative crisis intervention certification required for ER
• PALS certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (no local candidates)
