Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift PCU position in Texas, requiring a TX or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a Med/Surg setting
• Patient care provided on Unit/Floor 2
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment duration
• No local travelers accepted within a 50-mile radius
• Responsibilities include providing nursing care to patients requiring progressive medical intervention
• Time-off requests must be less than one week
• Candidates must be able to provide documentation as required, including references and license verification
• First time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Progressive Care or related specialty
• Valid driver's license required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
