Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg position in North Carolina, requiring a compact or NC RN license and at least one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Mixed patient population typical of Med Surg units
• No details provided about float or on-call requirements
• Must provide direct patient care on a busy Med Surg floor

Requirements

• Active North Carolina or compact RN license required
• Minimum of one year recent Med Surg RN experience
• BLS certification required (RQI certifications not accepted)
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot reside within 60 miles of the assignment location
• Cannot be employed full time elsewhere during assignment
