Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a NYS license and BLS certification, with preference for scrub and circulate skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Primary shifts are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Preferred experience in General, Robotics, Plastics, and Ortho surgeries
• Scrub and circulate experience is preferred
• Responsibilities include assisting in surgical procedures as a scrub or circulating nurse
• Completion of required hospital-specific modules via the iLearn platform prior to assignment start is mandatory
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
• Returning employees may require a review process for eligibility to return
• Current or pending certification renewal receipts must be available if licenses or certifications expire during the assignment

Requirements

• Active NYS RN license required
• Current BLS certification required from AHA
• Minimum of 2 years' Operating Room RN experience required
• Two professional references from previous managers within the past year in the applicable specialty
