Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a NYS license and BLS certification, with preference for scrub and circulate skills.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
- Primary shifts are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Preferred experience in General, Robotics, Plastics, and Ortho surgeries
- Scrub and circulate experience is preferred
- Responsibilities include assisting in surgical procedures as a scrub or circulating nurse
- Completion of required hospital-specific modules via the iLearn platform prior to assignment start is mandatory
- Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
- Returning employees may require a review process for eligibility to return
- Current or pending certification renewal receipts must be available if licenses or certifications expire during the assignment
Requirements
- Active NYS RN license required
- Current BLS certification required from AHA
- Minimum of 2 years' Operating Room RN experience required
- Two professional references from previous managers within the past year in the applicable specialty
