Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with strong OR experience and ARRT certification for varied shifts in a hospital medical imaging department.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital medical imaging department specializing in X-Ray
• Majority of shifts spent in the operating room (OR)
• Patient types include inpatient, outpatient, emergency, OR, NICU, pediatrics, vented, and sedated cases
• Perform whole body, musculoskeletal, and neuro imaging, including portable X-ray exams
• Handle a daily caseload of 15-20 patients
• Equipment includes Carestream portables, GE rooms, and GE C-arm
• Epic and Sectra used for charting, Epic experience preferred
• Variable shifts with weekend rotation discussed during interview
• Rare call required, details provided during interview
• No floating required
• Primary duties include providing X-ray imaging services with a focus on OR procedures and supporting a wide range of patient populations
• One week of orientation provided
• Blue OR procedural scrubs are provided
• Free parking is available
• First-time travelers will be considered
• No local travelers allowed; candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility
• Holiday and time-off expectations will be discussed during interview

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) credentials required
• Minimum 1 year of experience accepted, 3 years preferred
• Must have demonstrated OR imaging experience
• Level 1 or 2 trauma experience required
• Proficiency with C-arm equipment required
• Experience using Epic preferred
• License required if applicable
