Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in New York requiring a NY RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Work in the Operating Room setting
Day shift from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Opportunity to scrub and circulate in the OR
Exposure to procedures in general surgery, robotics, plastics, and orthopedics
Travelers are required to complete online learning modules prior to starting the assignment
Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
Returning travelers with prior employment may require eligibility review
Standard OR scrubs required

Requirements

Active NYS RN license required
BLS certification from AHA required
Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required
Experience in scrubbing and circulating preferred
Two professional references from recent managers required for consideration

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
