Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Obstetrics position with rotating day/night shifts and strong OB skills.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a combined Med Surg/OB unit within an acute care Critical Access Hospital setting
• Patient population includes both medical-surgical and obstetrics patients
• Assignment length is 13 weeks with rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
• Expected to work every other weekend and holiday
• One on-call shift required every 13 weeks
• Uses Epic charting system
• Provide nursing care for both Med Surg and OB patients as part of a multidisciplinary team
• CAH (Critical Access Hospital) environment with a diverse caseload
• Scrub color required is navy blue
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Holiday coverage is required
• Returning travelers who previously worked at any Sanford Health location must have an end date at least 6 months prior to consideration

Requirements

• Active SD or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) are required
• Experience working in Med Surg and OB settings
• Ability to rotate between day and night shifts
