Job Description
American Traveler seeks a Physical Therapist for a home health position in East Portland with at least 1 year of skilled home health experience and BCLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Home health setting covering East Portland and surrounding areas
- Individual case load with up to 6 patient visits per day based on a productivity points system
- Day shifts, five 8-hour shifts per week from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Patients are scheduled to minimize drive time; maximum daily radius is approximately 60 miles
- Epic Remote Client and Rover are used for charting; Oasis documentation is required
- Locals within a 50-75 mile radius are accepted at the same rate
- Primary responsibilities include providing home health physical therapy visits and completing required documentation
- Mileage reimbursement provided at the IRS standard rate
- Business casual attire required; scrubs are allowed but not required
- Free parking available
- All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state as needed
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as travelers and must not live within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal to no requested time off is preferred and must be requested at the time of submission
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
Requirements
- Active PT license required if applicable, pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of recent skilled home health experience required
- Current BCLS certification required
- Experience with Oasis documentation required or must be disclosed if lacking
- Ability to operate EMR systems, specifically Epic and Oasis
- Must have reliable transportation
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
