Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring an active IA or compact RN license and extensive IR lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Interventional Radiology/IR lab setting
• Patient population includes those requiring vascular and endovascular interventions
• Schedule includes 6-9 on-call days per month, with on-call coverage every 4th weekend
• Experience with Epic EMR is required
• Responsibilities include providing specialized nursing care for IR/vascular procedures
• Cardiac Cath Lab and endovascular procedure experience is preferred but not required
• A skills checklist specific to Operating Room Nurse/RN is required
• Candidates who have worked at this facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration

Requirements

• Active Iowa RN or compact multistate RN license required
• Minimum of 24 months of recent interventional vascular/IR lab experience in a hospital or medical center
• Experience with operating room procedures and documentation
• Current AHA or ARC ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Driver’s license required for consideration
• Professional reference from a supervisor or manager within the past 24 months preferred
