Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a Critical Need ICU position in California requiring a current CA RN license and recent ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract assignment
• Uses EPIC for electronic medical records
• Responsibilities include providing critical care to ICU patients
• Local and travel candidates are both accepted with the same rate
• All licenses and certifications must be active at the time of consideration
• Epic EMR experience is utilized in this unit
• Assignment length may not exceed two years without a 90-day break according to HR policy

Requirements

• Active CA RN license must be in hand
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• At least 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) ICU experience is required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• CCRN certification preferred
• Dialysis, SLED, or equivalent experience preferred
• Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth for consideration
